Tuition & Payment

Flat Rate Payment Structure

The monthly flat rate of $250 secures your weekly lesson time, regardless of whether the month includes 3, 4, or 5 lessons. This keeps billing simple and consistent.

  • Monthly Package: $250 per student

  •  Individual Lessons Available:

  • 30min–$65

  • 60 min – $120

  •  Invoices are due before your first lesson of the month. Payment plans may be arranged in advance, but the full amount is due before the next scheduled lesson.

  •  Late payments incur a $10 fee and may pause lessons.

General Policies

  1. No Refunds: Lessons are non-refundable once paid. If you’re sick and communicate with Mr. T, he will provide a short video, assignment, or practice tool. If he is sick, he’ll offer similar resources.

  2. No In-Person Makeups: Missed lessons cannot be rescheduled or credited due to limited availability. Your payment reserves your time. Mr. T cannot guarantee any learning tools for missed attendance without communication. Communication is key for any support as he prepares the missed lesson info during your booked time.

  3. Holiday Scheduling: No lessons will be held on major holidays (e.g., Memorial Day) or high-traffic weekends (e.g., Sea Otter Classic). These are factored into the monthly rate.

  4. Vacation/Hold Fee: For planned absences longer than 2 weeks, a $100 hold fee is required to retain your spot. Without it, your time slot may be offered to another student.

  5. Required Materials: Please bring a notebook or folder, pencil, tuner, metronome, and your personal instrument/accessories.

  6. Practice Expectations: Regular practice is expected. Lack of practice is not a valid reason to cancel. Continued poor attendance or conduct may result in a one-month improvement period before lessons are discontinued.

  7. Performance Opportunities: Students are encouraged to participate in performances—open mics, live shows, family concerts, etc. Interested? Let Mr. T know!

  8. Media Release: Lessons may include audio/video recordings for learning. If any clips are shared publicly, this agreement serves as your media release.

  9. Student Pick-Up: Please arrive promptly for pick-up after lessons. Mr. T cannot provide supervision beyond the lesson time.

  10. Hands-On Guidance: Occasionally, Mr. T may offer physical guidance for posture or technique. He is not a medical professional and will consult with parents if needed.

Communication

Mr. T prefers text for quick communication. For emails or calls, please send a text first. His teaching schedule may differ from yours, so replies may be delayed, especially during performances or travel.

If he needs to cancel a lesson, you’ll be notified in advance and receive supplemental materials.

Remote Learning

Remote lessons are available for students out of the area. Please notify Mr. T if you would prefer this option before signing.
