Rosewater Music is pleased to offer lessons to first timers of any age (as young as 3 for piano) as well as advanced understanding of technique and theory in several disciplines.
Our foundational and well-rounded approach allows our clients and students to take their learning home and go further in their enjoyment, creating a lifelong practice of joy in whichever interest each may persue.
Recitals and competitions are encouraged for child learners! We love putting on a show and sharing our talents, as well as earning a well-deserved award every now and then! We are excited for you to join our roster for any of our educational offerings.

Music and Body services are held in small classes and one-on-one.
We offer group healing & continuing education for current Energy Practitioners
All children participating in Rosewater learning will have recitals scheduled around their education goals. Learning materials are provided by the instructor.
Piano Lessons
Rosewater Music offers piano lessons from early beginner to well-advanced, focusing on technical and written fluency which expands to all instruments following.
Young beginners may start with fun and varied styles of learning around the piano with Kristen, while Alaina offers the foundational, rounded, and positive yet disciplined approach most classical learners have come to expect from private piano lessons.
Alaina is the master of this offering with over 3o years at the instrument, and 16 years as a piano teacher.

Singing Lessons
Rosewater Music offers beginning to advanced singing in different disciplines:
Kristen is able to get kids and older beginners into finding their voice and becoming comfortable with singing as a music tool and skill, while Alaina offers lessons for advanced technique in all vocal styles, including Theater, Classical (sheet reading included) and Jazz.
Alaina & Kristen also offer microphone technique learning in her lessons with handheld and studio microphones.
Ukulele Lessons
Ukulele learning can be facilitated by either Kristen or Alaina at Rosewater Music; Ukulele is a great beginners instrument for size and transferability to other disciplines later in music learning, or for lifelong enjoyment!
Alaina has the most training and experience in Ukulele, gathering materials and experience through work at local elementary schools and attending Ukulele gatherings around the country for continued education. Alaina uses the uke ‘professionally,’ teaching classical-guitar-style on the smaller instrument, as well as Spanish and traditional Hawaiian slack key and fingerstyle.
Guitar Lessons
Alaina & Kristen both offer Guitar lessons for beginner to intermediate players, focusing on tab reading, chord & strum pattern knowledge, and playing while singing.
Scale knowledge and fingerstyle playing is also available for those in pursuit, acoustic & electric are both supported. Classical guitar is not offered as a primary discipline, but can be introduced.
